• Really Nice Action

I love these glide baits. They are slow sinking. They have a nice, wide, S shaped swimming motion on a steady retrieve. What I really like is if you twitch and pause, this bait darts to one side, almost turning around. Twitch and pause again and it darts to the other side. Twitch and pause with the right cadence and you get this seductive, wide zigzag motion just under the surface that can motivate a disinterested fish into striking. I tried to show this retrieve in my video.

Bottom line, these lures catch fish. Just use a steady cast and retrieve to cover a lot of water and catch the more aggressive fish, and then switch to the slow twitch and pause when you need to get that finicky fish to bite.
  •  Great natural colors and action!

I am always looking for anything to help with bass in our local lake. I found these jointed lures and decided to give them a go. They are fairly inexpensive as far as lure packs (3 lures) go. They have heft to them and when casting you will need at least a mid-weight rod and they will cast far. As far as action, medium to fast sink and I see realistic movement from them. There are metal balls inside that create a nice rattle sound. The colors mimic our local Virginia panfish well and I like that the tail is made of fibers, not all plastic body. I committed to this lure for a few hours on a Fall evening, our lake is heavily pressured but managed a 4lb largemouth after two hours.
  • Very good looking glide lures!

I am reviewing the 4.9", 1.19 oz selection (panfish profile) selection. First, the negative. The description says that these lures come with #2 treble hooks. Mine didn't. They came with #6 hooks, and, despite what some other reviews say, the sharpness of mine was inconsistent. Rather than sharpen them, I replaced them. I put a #4 treble on the front hanger, and, because of concerns about the rear treble hook becoming entangled in the tail's filaments, I replaced it with a #1 in-line hook. That said, the length and weight, as described, are accurate. The paint & finish are excellent. Really noteworthy. Whether the fish will find them so is always a question, but fishermen are going to really like them. Lastly, at the current price point, these glide lures are an exceptional value.
  • Extremely lifelike color

Looks just like the fish it intends to mimic. Amazing detail! Haven't yet had a chance to use it (will do this weekend) but am blown away by the realism. I almost hate to use them
